MY LIFE!
In my presentation I used power point to explain “my life” with attractive photos and some keywords because I couldn’t remember. My oral presentation finished in 6 minutes and a half, approximately. I structured my work saying who am I, my present routines and my future resolutions. I didn’t say a lot of discourse markers but I think it was quite clear.
I was a little bit nervous, but I’m happy because this was the first presentation I wasn’t really nervous like the other lasts years. I think because of the confidence I have with the students of this class. I tried to look everybody, that’s impossible because there’s always someone who are your reference, but I saw in the video that I was looking a lot all of you.
Something that is very difficult is the movement of your hands or some gestures to hold the students’ attention. In the video I didn’t do anything of gestures, but I was always moving my hands.
My presentation wasn’t very original because I explained my life and it’s easy to explain because you know that perfectly, and for the first presentation I wanted to be sure and secure of me and tried this topic. I didn’t introduce a lot of new things because a lot of people in the class know me, but some of them didn’t know so I hope they could learn a little bit of my life and my coexistence.
I think I said simple sentences but I also said a lot of complex sentences. Grammar itself wasn’t too difficult but I learnt some words and above, I learnt a lot of sentences connectors, because it’s a bit difficult to get a complex sentence perfectly, and you have to look for in a dictionary. The worst mistake I did in my presentation was that I was saying all the time: eem…eem… or doing pauses to remember what I had to say.
I presented that enough quickly and fluid continuum but I used a monotone tone, so it’s a fault because in English you have to speak in a tone voice.

Hello, I’m Eva Saló and today I’m gonna talk about my life. I’m gonna introduce the structure of my power point: first I’m gonna say who am I?, my family, sports, pets hobbies, holidays, my lasts jobs, my worst day and my future resolutions.
First, Who am I?- I was born in 11th of April, I’m spontaneous, happy and active girl. When I was nine years old my shame started and I get embarrassed when I have to speak in front of a lot of people. I get…I get angry very quickly, but I try to be happy very quickly too. I consider that I am very friendly. Now, I’m a good student and I try to make the most of my life, my self because I think that the time flies.
My family.- They are the reason I get up every day and they helps me in all the factors I need. She is Laia, she is my sister, she is 20 years old and she goes to Girona’s University. She lives there during the week, and at the weekend she comes home, at home. He is my father, he is 48 years old and he, he works very hard, and finally, she is my mother, she is 44 years old and I can talk her whatever I want.
Sports.- I love all the sports but my favorite sport is football. I play with a football team. It’s called Football Club Sant Pere Pescador. We seems a big family because in the trainings we laugh a lot and we sing and we do whatever. And we are from the same town. My number is 21. I don’t play a lot, but I try to win, too.
My pets.- I love all the animals even if my. Lassie she is my favorite dog. Sam, he is very nervous and he is around five years old. Tina, she is one years old, and she is the afraitest dog I ever seen. And Frida, she is my horse and she is very pretty and younger, too. She is around five years old.
Hobbies.- When…In my free time, I do whatever because I’m very nervous, but I usually sing music or listen to music because it calms me and relax me. I ride a horse with my horse…it’s…I spent a lot of adrenaline and I love it. I love bringing heels, and finally, I love dancing because I don’t think about any concerns.
Holidays.- My first trip by plane was when I went to Mallorca, in Spain. I was 4 years old. I also goes to France, went to France, UK, Holland, and I also went to German and Check Republic to sing with my choral and my friends from Sant Pere Pescador. I also went to Argentina and Brazil, to see the Iguaçu falls. And my last trip, was when I went to Italy last year.
Jobs.- I hasn’t…I haven’t worked in a job since this summer. I worked with Marina in a summer school. We were the monitors of young children, since three years old to five years old. I also worked in my father’s Paintball. There were the Paintball guns, and it touch you. And there were another company, called Battlefield, that is a laser gun and it don’t touch you.
My worst day.- My worst day was when I was hospitalized in the Hospital when I was three years old because I had got Salmonella, and, and I was there for five days.
And finally, my future resolutions.- I hope to reach a career, I don’t know which one, but I’m sure that I like biology, so I want to do something related of biology. I hope to lose my shame because I hate that. And finally, I hope to form a family, because I love children and to be from, from a family.

The bold words are the most important mistakes. I really saw in the video that I repeated these words: and, finally, eem…etc. I didn’t put in the transcription all the pause fillers because I said a lot. I didn’t have a redaction with all the presentation written, but I did a scheme and the keywords on the power point that guided me to explain the presentation.
I think I did a good presentation, not excellent, but I tried to do the maximum.
