Thirteen & Adrian Mole

These stories are very similar but very different too. The similar things I saw between them are that they are adolescents gays and in this stage you do lots of crazy things, they want to get something; Adrian wants to be Pandora's boyfriend and Tracy wants to be popular like Evie. 

There's also a similar thing that I consider the most important one, because it's essential for your life and for your guidelines, the relationship with your parents. 

The differences between them are that Adrian doesn't need the drugs to reach Pandora, Tracy doesn't have her father next to her, Adrian doesn't hurt himself ... The difference that stands out most is that Adrian hasn't changed his attitude to get his objective, but Tracy radically changed to a rebel adolescent.

I haven't ever changed as Tracy and I don't think I won't ever do that, because I know that I want to be a part of a social group, because it's important for me and I hate feeling alone. But I don't want to get it this way because I will end up being alone. 

I never found myself in Adrian's situation, because fortunately my parents are together. But I am sure that my reaction would not be the same as Adrian, because he didn't care about his parents. I think I would be different, sadder, I would not like to do certain things...

After learning about these two stories, I think I'm glad of myself and my life , because fortunately, I don't lack anything, I have a good family, my friends are appropriate for me and for my behavior, and I don't think I'm going to be popular, but I feel very proud because my friends love me like I love them.
