Interview!

E: Hello everybody and welcome to Salo’s radio again. Today we have got a special guest…she is the new singer of LODVG. Let’s start! Can you introduce yourself, please?
M: Yes, of course. My name is Marina, but my famous nickname is April.
E: Wow…April! That’s a cool name, isn’t it?
M: Yeah! It isn’t a common name, but I love it!
E: When did you start singing?
M: Well, I started when I was seven years old in a small choir, and after I took private classes with my music teacher for many years.
E: Oh…it’s good! A part from singing, did you take a degree?
M: Yes, yes of course! I studied art in Oxford University because if the singing world falls apart, I would have a different future.
E: When did you decide to be in LODVG group?
M: Well,…I didn’t search to take part of a musical group, but in this case, it came to me and I took it!
E: You’re a spontaneous girl!
M: Ajajajjajaj , yes I am!
E: Which is your best song?
M: Erm…That’s a difficult question. I’d say …Jueves.
E: Jueves? Oh… it’s my favourite song, too! And, a part of your group, what do you do in your free time?
M: Well,…I’ts difficult to have free time because of the concerts, practicings, etc, but I try to  be with my family and my friends.
E: So, this answer brings me to ask you a question. Are you going out with anybody at the moment?
M: Ajajajjaj, it’s a private question! I will only tell you that now I’m not alone.
E: mmm…so I hope you will tell us the answer of my question next program you will come. We will wait you! You know that you’re welcome here! Have a good future in the music world, and thank you for all!
M: Ohhh… thank you  for all. I will return very soon and I hope answer you the private question!
(M and E laughing together)
E: So here we finish Monday’s programme and I hope you will be here tomorrow with a special and famous guest…Mario Casas! We will ask him for the new season of Barco! Will you lost it ?

Eyelid marks warn of heart attack

Researchers in Denmark say that yellow markings on the eyelids are a sign of increased risk of heart attack and other illness.

A study showed patients with xanthelasmata (which are mostly made up of cholesterol) were 48% more likely to have a heart attack.
For both men and women in several age groups, the data said there was one in five chance of developing heart disease in the next decade if the patient had xanthelasmata.
However they warned that today, most people with xanthelasmata are seen by dermatologists.

In my case, these yellow marks don’t affect me, as I don’t have any similar mark in my body. But I know some people have this one in their face, which is very strange, because I didn’t ever think that it can risk you of a heart attack.
However, I know people next to me that they have been some heart attacks, which they haven’t got these yellow marks. The nature is very strange and difficult to understand!

My sister, my best friend!

My sister’s name is Laia. She is 20 years old. She is four years older than me because she was born in 1991.

I can consider Laia like my best friend, because we are always talking about our experiences and lovers, and I can tell her things I have lived or concerns and problems I have. Although she is older, we are often together; on the parties, at home… and we never fight, only we sometimes discuss because we have got a hard character.

I know that she’ll never disappoint me because she is my sister, very mature certainly, and I can trust her. But she also knows that she can tell me whatever she wants as I can help her at all.

Together we are very spontaneous sisters; we sing, we laugh, we dance, we cry and our way of being is very similar, although our bodies aren’t identical.

SUMMER 2011!

The summer aren’t ever boring, especially because we don’t have to study and we can go to the beach, to the swimming pool and meet our friends, with the good weather join us.

My 2011’s summer was very busy. This was my first year I worked. I was working in Sant Pere Pescador doing monitor of young children. It was very fun because I love them and they are very nice and beautiful.
I was also working in my father’s business. I worked at the Paintball, called Far West. It was great because it’s a nice job and very entertaining.

Out off my work, I went to my friend’s house two weeks to disconnect of the routine and my day a day. We laughed a lot!
This summer I think that I came more mature because I lived a lot of things, experiences,…and some people had showed me how can I take my time.
