Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, a hunting dog was with its owner, in Canterville. It was a brown dog with little white spots. It was called Sam and it was obedient and faithful to its owner. 

Every Sunday, they went hunting, but that 30 October, it was raining outside and they couldn't go. Sam was very sad and he started looking for something interesting in the garden to play. But the dog didn't find anything until he hindered an injured little bird. Normally, the hunting dogs would eat it, but it was worth to Sam and he took it to his kennel. Sam began as a purpuse to take care of the injured bird. The first weeks before the little bird could walk, Sam brought some bread, he wetted its peak, he licked its wounds, he heated it at nights...

Slowly, the little bird was holding forces, it opened and closed its wings correctly, and it was prepared to fly. Both were sad because they knew they had to be separeted soon. But the day arrived, and both understood one important thing: "your enemy can save your life, and you never know where the next miracle is going to came from". 

Teràpia de shock

This group is one of my favorite music group. I really like them because they sing in Catalan and their songs are very cool and amusing.

They are four boys. The singer is Ferran, the guitarist is Jaume, but the all most people call him “Suka”, the bass guitarist is Albert, and last, but not least, the drummer is Gerard. They always go together and they seem brothers.

Two of my friends, Marina and Joana, and me went to a concert of Teràpia de Shock  to see them. We really liked it! And last year, the group proposed that the people can do a video of their new song. We did that! At first, we didn’t know how can we do the video because the song was very strange. But after some meetings we met in Joana’s house and in four days, approximately, we filmed the three minutes of the song. We also met to do this project in movie maker. When we finished it, we send the video to the group. They said that the winner will go with them to the next concert on the stage. We were very nervous because of the result, but unfortunately we didn’t win. At first, we weren’t happy because we wanted to win, but after see our video, we thought that we did the best project for us, and the time we took laughing and discussing, we and anyone aren’t going to lose.

The Proposition

The Proposition is a film starring by Sandra Bullock. I think that she is the best actress. She is a very pretty and strong woman. I really like her because she has got a lot of experience, she introduces very well in her characters, and all her films are very exciting and amusing. When she moved to New York to start her acting career, she was working as a waitress to keep her, since she could find her firsts jobs of interpretation.  She have won a lot of awards and Oscars, and she became the highest paid actress in Hollywood, in 2010.

In “The preposition” Margaret (Sandra Bullock), is a powerful editor, who suddenly has to be deported to Canada, her origin country. To avoid this, she said to the police that she is committed with her assistant, Andrew, who she was torturing during years. He accepted because she said that he would be an editor, his wish. Because the police don’t suspect anything, they decided to go to Alaska, because was the birthday of his grandmother. There, they were knowing each other and she discovered that she loves him. She realized she was doing an evil doing, and she returned to United States without marriage. Andrew also discovered that he was in love of Sandra and he run there too. He declared her, and although it wasn’t easy, she accepted.

It’s a very interesting and amusing film, because you laugh a lot and you see the true love of two strangers’ adults who were known for years. 

Lack of outdoor play linked to short-sighted children

The time children spend outdoors could be linked to a reduced risk of being short-sighted, research suggests.


An analysis by University of Cambridge researchers found that for each additional hour spent outside per week, the risk of myopia reduced by 2%, that it's a common eye condition that causes distant objects to appear blurred, while close objects can be seen clearly. 
Exposure to natural light and time spent looking at distant objects could be key factors.

Dr Sherwin said they would now need more precise data to try to understand which factors, such as increased use of distance vision, reduced use of near vision, natural ultraviolet light exposure or physical activity, are most important.


But there's also a risk to be always in the outdoors, for exemple skin cancer, cataracts and other cancers.
On the other hand, increasing outdoor physical activity could protect against diabetes and obesity, vitamin D deficiency and osteoporosis.
"If a child is not born long-sighted enough, then they will overshoot and end up short-sighted. This tends to happen around puberty."


I feel alluded of the description of Dr. Sherwin, because I never had got short-sightedness, and when I entered puberty, I got. I also think, that it happened to me because I'm always on the computer or doing homework. I know that i have spent so many hours, but in the XXI century, we can't do anything without computers. My myopia has increased, and it'll continue to grow up.

Now, I'm adapting of this situation, but at first, I was very sad to see my life behind two glass.

Football!

Football is one of my favourites sports. I play with a team, in Sant Pere Pescador. We're 21 players and we make long journeys to play with the other teams from other places.


There's a good feeling between all the players and we seem like a big family. There are different ages in the team, since 14 years old to approximately 30 years old.
I play as a defender, on the left side. But because there are so many players, I can't play a lot and I'm in the dock, half of the match.


In the trainings, we laugh a lot and we do technical and physical exercices. At the end of the training, we play a little match between us, to improve for the real matches. My trainer is very good and I love his trainings.
Until now, we haven't lost any match and I think we're on track!

ARGENTINA

This 14th of December I'm going to Argentina!

I went there 3 years ago, because I've got family there. They are aproximatly 40 relatives! Firstly, my family from Spain and I didn't know their names and it had taken a lot to learn them.

In this trip, my parents, my sister and I are going to Buenos Aires, the capital city. There, we'll visit the city, the monuments, etc., but all of the trip, we're going to stay in Santa Fe. 

We wanted to go to Patagonia to see the whales and to celebrate New Year's eve and New Year's day, but a volcano has blown up recently, near Patagonia and we can't go there. I'm very sad because I was very enthusiastic to go there. But these lasts weeks, they are organizing a new excursion to visit little villages in Argentina.

I'm very nervous to go there and very happy, too!

Blackberrys haven't got services because of a global blackout!

Blackberry's founder Mike Lazaridis has said services are "fully restored" following a three-day global blackout.


Millions of customers worldwide are very angry, and they have post complains on their twiiter to express their anger.
In a press conference, Mr Lazaridis said the company would now begin a full investigation of what happened and why and why there was a core switch failure within RIM's UK data centre in Slough. 


The Blackberry phone is only able to send text messages and make calls, and some operators, like Telefonica, are thinking how they can compensate all the users of Blackberry. 
The company admitted that it was the largest crash it had ever experienced.


In my opinion I think that it has been a very big problem, because some businessmen can't work. Now, Blackberry phone is usual for a lot of people, because some companies work with its and now, they can't do much. There are another cases, like the normal people, that they use this phone to chat with Blackberry's mesenger.
It isn't my case, because I don't have it, but I also hope, that this problem could resolve very soon.
